Avamere at Newberg prides itself in its ability to develop close, meaningful relationships with residents. We offer a spectrum of care services, plus we are the only facility in Newberg who provides assisted-living and memory care services.

When talking with potential residents and residents early on, we ask about their needs and try to learn more about their life. What they did professionally and personally. What they enjoyed and still find enjoyable. This allows our team to really know them—and in turn—better serve them.

We live and breathe Avamere's mission, "to enhance the life of every person we serve" by making it a daily priority. For instance, our team repeats it aloud during each morning's meeting, and we show it in the quality care provided to residents. Management and staff go to great lengths to ensure that each resident settles in nicely. We make personal visits; help with unpacking, and respond to questions.

As Executive Director, I offer 15 years of experience in working with and caring for seniors. I have an open door policy and a personal commitment to providing high-quality service centered on building relationships.
